How to LEAD and TEAM to Achieve Great Results

COURSE TARGET AUDIENCE: This course is specifically designed for managers/directors with responsibility for one department/unit/specialty with 10-100 employees. This course content can also be applied at a division level by senior leaders.

TARGETED COURSE OUTCOME: To increase and leverage employee engagement and work culture to significantly improve operational results and successfully define and execute on annual goals.

 CONTACT HOURS: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing: Provider #16063. Approved for 18 Contact Hours. 

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Phase I Goals - Visioning, Assessment, Planning, Communication

#1 - Gain Clarity on:

A) The vision for the New Approach (the “Why”)

B) The Department's/Division's Current Baseline Results & Key Strategies/Goals

C) Roles & Responsibilities

D) Guiding Principles

#2 - Develop and populate the local level employee-driven efforts/team(s)

#3 - Begin the “packaging” of the above via the initiation of a communication plan


Enrollment in The GREATNESS Course will also include access to a separate CapstoneEDU module for Phase II content, which focused on these goals:

Phase II Goals - Elevating your leadership & employee-driven efforts

#1 - The leader evolves his/her mastery of the elements of a Leadership Bundle and Change Process/Theory

#2 - The employee-driven efforts evolve as high functioning and high contributing toward the achievement of the targeted strategies/improvement/goals/results.

    Start by determining your "why" for strengthening your leadership and employee engagement and the move on to understanding your "what" by assessing the current state of your department (or division, or organization).

  • Level 02

    Phase I - Engagement Essentials

    Gain momentum in the course by moving to the "who" and the "how" of engaging employees to contribute to the success of the department (or division/organization)

  • Level 03

    Phase II - Part1

    In Phase II, you will be adopting or elevating impactful leadership tactics to build your "leadership bundle" and to also provide additional focus on continuing to evolve your employee engagement efforts initiated in Phase I.

  • Level 04

    Phase II - Part 2

    In Phase II, you will be adopting or elevating impactful leadership tactics to build your "leadership bundle" and to also provide additional focus on continuing to evolve your employee engagement efforts initiated in Phase I.

  • Level 05

    Wrap Up

    Complete the course evaluation and receive your completion certificate.
